I left Lawrence for a few years and then came back. So much had changed in that short period. I have spent a lot of time walking the streets of Lawrence taking photos. I want to document the stories of the places and people that make it such a great place to live.

When picking the houses to include in this project there were many factors; age, color, shape, size, materials, and story.  It is important to include the occupant of the house because they are the ones that make the house unique.

The goal of this project will be to make a book that showcases the character that makes Lawrence a special city. 

 

If you leave Lawrence you find yourself hoping to return one day. It's important to have a home to return to.
